We will have a regular schedule on Monday. We will start TCAP testing on Tuesday and finish on Friday. There will be no after school activities this week.

Here are some suggestions to help our children perform their best this week.
A) Get plenty of rest. Go to bed earlier than usual so the children are refeshed and alert.
B) Have a good breakfast. If you are in a hurry, drop the children off at 7:30 and they can have breakfast at school for free!
C) Get to school early. Being rushed in the morning hurts focus and concentration. Plus, if they arrive late, they might not be allowed in class. We do not interrupt testing once it begins.

Thanks for all the snacks volunteered. This is one of the treats the children look forward to during the year. They know it is special. It helps bring down anxiety levels and calms the mood.

The children will be allwed to chew gum during testing. This is fine as long as I do not hear it, see it or smell it! This is another treat for the children that helps concentration and alleviates stresses.
